We’ve created a Sign-Up Genius for all the roles that need to be filled for this year’s Gumbo Dinner — our second largest fundraiser of the year. This important event helps us keep tuition costs low for our families.

Helpers to prepare potato salad at Our Mother of Mercy on October 21
Volunteers to help cook rice at the school on October 21–22

Dress-Up Days – $3 per day or $10 for the week:

Wednesday: Wear a Hat*
Thursday: Camo Day

Students in grades 5–8 created visual stories inspired by their first quarter novels — Lassie (5th & 6th) and Treasure Island (7th & 8th). Each project beautifully reflected the spiritual lessons they discovered within these timeless tales.

Our students had a blast attending the MKHS Block Party and Homecoming Pep Rally! It was great to see our feeder school showing their Bulldog spirit and cheering alongside the big kids.

We're excited to be a part of this year’s MKCHS Block Party TOMORROW, starting at 6:00 PM at the Centennial Complex! This fun-filled event will feature tons of exciting activities, performances, and a chance to show your school spirit!
Here’s the schedule:
6:30 PM: Beaus & Sweethearts
6:45 PM: Feeder schools report to the Centennial Complex
7:00 PM: Feeder students run through the Dawg & Performances by cheerleaders, KDF, and Cheer
7:30 PM: The MKHS Class of 2026 will lead the Burning of the Letters ceremony!
