Learn about the ways we utilize literature in our curriculum!
Literature plays a crucial role in Catholic education by facilitating the integration of faith and culture, enhancing critical thinking and discernment, and contributing to moral and spiritual formation. It is an essential element in the holistic development of students, helping them to navigate their personal and communal lives in accordance with their faith. Through literature, Catholic schools aim to cultivate a generation of individuals who are not only well-educated but also deeply committed to living out their Christian values in the world.

SURPRISE! We have some big news! St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School has a NEW look!
We have been working diligently to bring a renewal to St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School. Our goal is to inspire our community to look for all things true, good and beautiful. In the heart of Catholic education lies a profound connection between the Church and the school, both of which serve as vital pillars in the formation of young minds and spirits. This partnership is not merely functional; it is a sacred communion that fosters a holistic educational experience. The Catholic school is envisioned as a vibrant community where faith and learning intertwine, creating an environment that nurtures both intellectual growth and spiritual development.
This new look is to bring honor to our church and to signify unity!

Why send your children to Catholic school?
Catholic schools are fundamentally rooted in the mission of the Church to educate in the faith. They provide an environment where children can grow in their understanding of Christian values and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Catholic school experience is designed to promote a faith-relationship with Christ, which is essential for the assimilation of Christian values in daily life. This faith formation is not merely academic; it is integrated into the entire educational experience, fostering a deep spiritual life that can guide students throughout their lives.
