Dear Parents, Faculty/Staff, and Students,
Due to the impending cold morning temperatures and possible icy road conditions forecasted for Monday, January 26, 2026, and for the safe travel and well-being of our students, and faculty and staff of the four Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Beaumont, our schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Our four Diocesan Catholic Schools are: Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, St. Anne Catholic School, St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Catholic School, and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School.
Also, please see the important message below from Bishop Toups regarding the winter weather and attending Holy Mass this Sunday, January 22, 2026:
Ms. Alison Kiker, M.Ed.
Superintendent of Catholic Schools
Principal, St. Anne Catholic School
Diocese of Beaumont

To the Faithful of the Diocese of Beaumont:
Please be cautious and prudent this weekend regarding the forecasted freezing temperatures. I wish to remind the faithful that if you deem it unsafe to drive due to ice on the roads, your Sunday Mass obligation is lifted. In such cases, please maintain your commitment to the Lord's Day by reflecting on the Sunday scriptures and making a spiritual communion.
As the temperatures drop, let us pray for those who are struggling to stay warm during these days, especially for the homeless. Let us also remember our first responders and others who are called upon to work in this weather.
Bishop David L. Toups

Many students at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School contributed a unique piece to these mosaics, reminding us that when we work together in unity, something beautiful is created. Inspired by the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this artwork reflects the dignity, diversity, and shared purpose of our school community. Like a mosaic, our differences do not divide us—they strengthen the whole. Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. day!
