Just an FYI for families! We will have healthcare professionals on campus Wednesday and Thursday to complete our required hearing, vision, and scoliosis screenings for students.

Aftercare will be held in our Technology Center. When picking up your child, please go to the gate by the playground on the main campus. The phone number for aftercare pickup will be posted on the street-facing side of the gate. Please call the number, and a staff member will verify your identity and bring your child to you.

We have several exciting opportunities coming up for our 5th–8th grade students! I’ve attached information about Student Council, as well as opportunities to participate in athletics.
If your child is interested in sports this year, please complete the attached interest form this week. It is important that we have an idea of participation numbers so we can determine whether we have enough students to form teams for boys’ and girls’ basketball, co-ed soccer, and co-ed track.

We have also updated page 38 of the handbook outlining carline directions. This was done to accommodate a longer line that stays off of MLK. • Complete the Diocese of Beaumont Extraordinary Assistance application.

The Basilica is excited to launch a monthly Children's Mass, held on the second Sunday of each month. The first Children's Mass will take place at 12:00 PM on Sunday, July 12.
All children throughout the diocese are invited to attend and participate. We especially encourage our school choir students to join the Children's Choir, which will be led by our Choir Director, Mr. Woody.
Students in grades 3 and above who would like to sing should arrive by 11:00 AM. The choir will meet in the chapel for a brief warm-up and rehearsal before walking together to the Cathedral at approximately 11:45 AM to take their places before Mass begins.
